The following sequence demonstrates a metal trench box set up. The initial plate is laid on the ground with the strut housings uppermost, The four struts are assembled to the right measurement as dictated by the width of the trench a manhole and are inserted into the housings and pinned in spot. All pins need to be secured with R-clips facing inwards. The 2nd plate is inverted and employing the managing level in the rear face lifted horizontally and moved more than the up standing struts. The plate is little by little decreased into the struts which are very carefully maneuvered to find into the housings.
