What Do You Say To Your Leads?

We have covered how to get leads by collecting business cards. Now that you have those cards what are you going to do? Why would you be calling business owners when our niche market is network marketers?

These are prospects that are in most cases failing in their current business but are open to a new business. They do not have the 9 to 5 mentality.  I can remember hearing a very famous business owner who has made millions, say he is always looking for a new way to generate income and that is what we all should do.  When a business person looses their business they do not go looking for a job, they simply find a new business.

This is a numbers game and you can go through large numbers with this method but the most important thing is to pick up the phone and call your new leads.  This is where most people fail.  The purpose of leads generation is to get prospects to call.  Personally if I am not on the phone I panic because I know this is the number one way of building my team.

So what do you say to these leads when you call them? Well the best way I know to talk to any prospect is to ask questions. These people do not have time for a lot of small talk so you just tell them you found their business card on your desk, in your wallet, at your dinner table or where ever. You are just calling to find out if they are interested in generating income working a side project that will not interfere with what they are currently doing?

At this point  say nothing, just listen for their reply. If the answer is no, just thank them for their time and get off the phone and call the next lead. If the answer is yes, give them your link to your online presentation, your sizzle call, your opportunity call or whatever method you are using to get prospects in front of your presentation.  Tell them that it may not be for them but after they have heard the information you will contact them to find out if they are a match for your business.

Now you should always be on the phone calling these prospects for your business.  Try using this method for one year and watch the size of your downline explode! One of two things will happen while making these calls. Your prospects will either say yes or no, don't be concerned about the ones who say no because they will not help your business grow. Just stick with this for one year. This is the type of activity that gets results.

How To Get 50 Leads Per Day!

I can remember desperately contacting friends and family members trying to get them to take a look at my opportunity.  Time and time again I was turned down. Then suddenly something very strange happened, or was it something all network marketers have experienced? People started to avoid me when they saw me coming and would not take my phone calls.

I had all I could take, I had tried so hard for so long and to make matters worse I had an upline who did not help me a very much. I had had all I could stand, I was going to quit!

Today I have more than enough leads to talk to at all times. I could drop into any city across America and within just a few hours have 50 plus leads to contact. But the most important thing is I can teach my team members to do the same thing as soon as they come on board.  It is so important to have prospecting methods that your team members can duplicate or you will be nothing more that self employed or shall I say you will have a job running a business and that could be even worse than just having a job.

If you can generate leads at will you can build a huge organization in any Network Marketing Company.  Take a business card for example. Instead of passing out business cards you should be collecting them. These are business people who will be more likely to be open to another business especially if theirs is not doing well.  You can collect these cards at events and other public places where there is a cork board posted on the wall somewhere for people to post their business cards.

You have these business cards, so what do you do next? What do you do with all of your leads? You pick up the phone and call them! Leads are no good if you  are not willing to pick up the phone and call them.  Yes there are some who do not call their leads and they are signing up members my the hundreds and thousands.  Guess what? They are paying someone else to call their leads. Until you can afford to do that you will have to call them yourself.

Well this is just one method of gathering leads you can use on a daily basis so you can always have hundreds of leads to call. This means everything to your business since this is a numbers game.  When you call these leads you must know what to say to them or you will loose them.

The success or failure of your business lies in your ability to generate your own leads.  Maybe some day friends and family will ask you what it is that you are doing while they get up and go to work every day that has you living the life style they pray that they could have.
